CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL

The career guidance and placement cell of our college had organised a campus interview under the guidance of our Principal, Rev. Dr.A. Nirmala Devi. Campus interview was conducted by different Matriculation and CBSE schools in Tamil Nadu during the month of March and our student teachers were selected to work in different schools. The following schools conducted campus interview from 19th to 21st March and selected our meritorious students.

Objectives of the Placement Cell:

• To bring awareness among the prospective teachers about the profession.
• To initiate and develop attitude and interest in one’s career.
• To provide information for future opportunities.
• To made students self-reliant.
• To provide information relating to career opportunities available to the outgoing students.
• To provide information relating to job opportunities available in public and private sectors, besides self employment programmes.
• To provide information relating to competitive examinations like civil service examination NET,SLET,TRB.
• To maintain report with various employment agencies and help them to conduct campus interviews.
• Information relating to opportunities for higher education.
• To train up the students in soft skills.
• To conduct interactive session with students in this week of August every year for final year U.G. Students / P.G. Students and collect 10 copies (Bio-data, students B.Ed. & M.Ed.) of C.V. and the cell is to monitor the various job opportunities available. The placement officer is to send C.V.’s collected from the students to necessary organizations.
